BSNW Carefree Electric Guitar

The Bad Stain Carefree electric guitar is manufactured using quality components, but is priced low, making it an affordable guitar for beginners, as well as a guitar that experts are sure to appreciate.

The Carefree has a basswood body that is shaped similar to a Fender Strat, and has a maple “C” shaped neck with maple fretboard. The neck is 25 1/2 inches long with 22 medium frets and black clay fret markers.

The Carefree comes equipped with a set of Bad Stain Snortin’ Railz mini humbucking pickups. Snortin‘ Railz Pickups have a hot tone with strong treble and defined mids. The pickups produce their scorching tone with the help of tightly wound coils of formvar wire, along with both ceramic and neodymium rare earth magnets. The dual magnets help give the pickup a unique tone that is great when used with distortion.

The BSNW Snortin’ Railz bridge pickup has an output of 12,000, the middle pickup has an output of 10,600, and the neck pickup has an output of 8,900.

The Carefree features a master volume knob, as well as two tone knobs to adjust the bass and treble, and a pickup selection switch that features a bullet shell knob that gives it the signature Bad Stain style. The pickup switch can be set to adjust the guitar so that only the bridge pickup is active, the bridge and middle pickup are active, the bridge and neck pickups are active, the middle and neck pickups are active, or only the neck pickup is active.

The Carefree is one of Bad Stain’s most affordable guitars and is available in white with a high gloss finish and red pearl pickguard.
