Subject Mad

Mad in the U.S.A.

After former Dirty Laundry drummer, Billy Horner, left the band to put all of his attention into Subject Mad, Chase Stain promised to help in any way possible. In 1996 when Stain was looking to sign the fourth band to the label, he knew that Subject Mad was the perfect choice. The bands amazing sound was unique and powerful, and Stain felt as though the band had serious potential. Stain sent them into the studio right away and the band recorded 14 songs that oozed with inspiration, ranging from F.Y.P to Toy Dolls. They developed a strong cult following throughout the years, and many still wish for a reunion. Subject Mad has been nominated for Best Retired band both in 2004, and 2005 at the Arizona Ska Punk Awards, and the album went on to sell 2,000 copies. The album is currently out of print. After the demise of Subject Mad we feel no immediate need to repress, but who knows what the future holds.
